| In a society that is being increasingly dominated by the medial, children need to look towards educational TV programming. 1. Implementation of new cartoons. a. Poppy Avenue- a show with muppets such as Little Hawk and the Tofu Creep, they teach children basic mathematics as well as political socialization to the right ideals of equality, fairness and tolerance. b. Spongerob Triangular Pants- a show about an amphibious sponge that can live both in water and out of the water, he has friends from both the sea and dry land. He is also very open about himself and his personal preferences c. Carney- Carney is a Tyrannosaurus rex, he is a vegan and promotes healthy living among kids. He tells children that the reason why he's not extinct is because of his vegetarian lifestyle and his drive to exercise. On his program, children will learn Tai Chi, yoga, aerobics, how to play basketball and vegetarian meals. d. Radiotubbies- Not only they are more than just friends with each other, they are also different in their own special ways. The purple Radiotubby; Winky-Woowoo is a transgendered person with giantism, while the red Radiotubby, Boop, is a man with dwarfism. Children will learn to respect people of all backgrounds with this show e. Purple's Hints- Join Purple and his human pet, Stan on adventures to find clues on what they want to do with their everyday lives. Whether they want to play basketball or join a political rally, the adventure possibilities are endless f. Prophet: The First Truth Teller- This show is about a young Buddhist Rutanian Civil Rights activist known as "The Prophet" who goes on a quest with his Coburian friends; Katlana, Soccer and a blind karate girl (voiced by Toffie Bei-fong). On their quest, they are constantly pursued by the evil Fire Zog-Nationalists who want to oppress them and kill their people. g. Jumbo's Play Place- A very eccentric young man educates children about the important lessons of living in a democracy, some of Jumbo's play place friends are diverse individuals...such as a trash can named Ted, a food blender named Janet and a vacuum cleaner named Roland. 2. | Message | Gregory Zaner retorts: This bill doesn't affect the classroom as our nationalist colleagues...and I use that term lightly, suggests. TV programs are usually watched and enjoyed at home. People will have the option to watch TV or not. The television programming we wish to introduce to the viewers in Beluzia is informative, entertaining and out-of-the-classroom educational. This will educate children outside the classroom. We find the Nationalists statements to be ignorant...or maybe the nationalists want to keep our youth dumb and condition the Beluzian youth to be detached from politics so that their reign, if in any event they take the highest office, can enforce their planned tyranny more efficiently. |

| Message | I never argued with intellectual programmes. I was arguing at your use of anti-Zogist sentiments. Whether you agree with our policies or not, you cannot attempt to influence people like this. Surely that is anti-democratic? If you are as bigger democrat as you make out, you would drop any attempt to include politics in these programmes. Education doesnt happen only in our classrooms, I was using the word classroom to mean the whole education system, which includes television. You have no right to tell children that our parties are evil, would you do the same to other parties not conforming to your policy, the BDaFP for example? |
