Bill: Call for early elections, January 2652
Details
Submitted by[?]: Christian Royalist Party (IJ)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.
Voting deadline: April 2653
Description[?]:
We, the Christian Royalist Party (IJ), call for early elections as soon as we can reach a consensus. Okay, it is time to end our vote splitting and and vote in favor on a Royalist nominee so that the president shall be loyal to the Monarch. I propose that we nominate Suresh Bengali of the Namaste Party, a Party that has proven to be a moderate voice of the people. OOC: Left Monarchist Front: You screwed up, so let's fix this. |
Proposals
Article 1

Message | Absolute nonsense. There are quite clearly two royalist factions, one of the right, and one of the left. The one of the left is more popular. This just goes to demonstrate the innate hatred of democracy that exists within the ranks of the CRP. |
Date | 02:00:38, October 16, 2008 CET | From | Jelbanian Conservative Party | To | Debating the Call for early elections, January 2652 |
Message | This is absurd. Our candidate got more votes in the first round than any other candidate. If anything Namaste and the CRP should endorse Dick Dickerson III. If and when our candidate fails to win against the republican forces, then the CRP or Namaste should be backed by the Royalist coalition, preferably the party that has the most popular support. Namaste had been in power too long and is less popular in the legislature than either of us, we should not continue to prop him up. The people have clearly spoken. We will vote 'yes' on this when our current bills get an up or down vote. |
Date | 04:20:30, October 16, 2008 CET | From | Jelbanian Blue Party | To | Debating the Call for early elections, January 2652 |
Message | Popularity is cyclical. We shall return. However, in the meantime we do not mind other Royalist parties taking a "piece".OOC: I leave for a day, heh. Oh well blame WOW. |
