Message | Sometimes a civilian police force might not be better equipped or experience enough to deal with a serious emergency, such as a terrorist attack or gangs fighting in the streets. Military will enforce law and order again if the police force fail to deal with the problem. The PCP is threatening the security of the people, there always has to be a Plan B. Date | 02:12:29, October 17, 2008 CET | From | Grand Liberal Party | To | Debating the Civilian Control of Institutions Act, 2652 |
Message | It is because of the Grand Liberal Party that the current law on this issue is in place, and we hope to play part in keeping it this way. Some issues are so big that a civilian police force can not solve the problem alone. If we do not allow the military to step in, a lot of things could go wrong. We believe that if this bill passes, Rutanians security will be at a low if one of these serious emergencies are to happen. After recently passing a bill to make it the way it currently is, we hope it stays the way it currently is. David Collins Leader & Founder of the Grand Liberal Party. |
