Bill: Prostitution Not a Proffession Act, 2654
Details
Submitted by[?]: Grand Liberal Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2655
Description[?]:
This bill proposes that although legal, prostitution is not recognized as a profession. Are we really being serious on this issue? The Grand Liberal Party's aim for the coming years is to clean the streets of Rutania, and to have fully educated and smart people with bright futures. This is the only way to make Rutanians truly free, and happy in the long run, and although this bill still allows prostitution, it is only common knowledge that it should not be a profession. |

Proposal[?] to change The right for a person to prostitute himself or herself.
Old value:: Prostitution is legal and a recognized profession.

Message | This bill only serves to criminalise widely accepted behavior in Rutania and will further hamper government efforts to contain STD and STIs. |

Message | Yes, but can you really say that prostitution is viewed as a profession? That's pretty much like driving down the road, only to see some ugly company building reading "Candy's Prostitution Agency", it makes no sense what so ever to make prostitution a recognized job. To call it a profession is just terrible. |
