This is a bill to provide Rutanians who are "poor" with a better opportunity at life. Although the previous and current law is just fine, this ensures that all Rutanians have a good chance at life, which is something the GLP firmly believes in. |

Old value:: All adults not supported by another person shall be guaranteed a very basic subsistence income by the government. However, the provision of this is not to exceed a certian period of time.

Message | The current bill gives incentive to the person receiving welfare to get themselves back on their feet while still enabling them to subsist for a time. If you remove the provision limiting the welfare for a limited time then you will end up with people not doing anything, knowing that they can just get help from the government. |
