Bill: Cabinet Proposal of June 2654

Details

Submitted by[?]: Alorian Populist Party (DemCoa)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2655

Description[?]:

Proposing a Cabinet. This is because Henry Canning is now acting President. We need to replace him with someone else, so we have a seperation here.

BTW, I don't think we should have early elections. This is like a VP taking for President. Election schedule will continue as scheduled, while it is understood that Canning is the acting President.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.
