Bill: Gov.0026.2655 (Early Elections)

Details

Submitted by[?]: 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.

Voting deadline: January 2656

Description[?]:

As the glitch that stopped the months form ticking has been fixed and elections can be done, I think it prudent we hold early elections as we would have had them already had it not been for the glitch.

MessageWe have plenty of bills in voting process. I say let them pass first before calling an election. The last bill in voting ends (save this one) end in October of this game year. We\'ve already suffered a bit of a setback in time, why does the DSP wish for a set back in getting all those bills through pass or fail? I\'d rather wait a less than a day and let them all pass so that we don\'t have to vote on them all over again.

We strongly oppose in the name of allowing the democratic progress to proceed. We would support calling elections after all bills pass (a.k.a 16 1/2 hours at the time of this post).

MessageThe only reason we can see why the Socialists would call for this is to try to hinder Democracy in Sekowo. With so many bills on the table and a full complement of parties, it is ridiculous to call for early elections now.

MessageOOC: DSP has become religious! Thank God for that! I\'m not the sole religious party anymore! Praise be to God! hehe ... too tempting to miss up on. =D

Lord it up is British expression to impersonate a lordship. So, I will assume he meant to \'lavish oneself\' while you can. Apparently, something bad is going to happen to you, NPP. <CP steps back as a precautionary measure> See you on the other side of the elections. =P

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too.
