MessageAll this will do is allow mercenaries and rogues to operate private militaries in our nation. This is simply risky and dangerous.

MessageThe FAP would vote towards the \"The state owns national defence industries but these exist alongside privately owned defence industries\" option, allowing private industry to have hold but still the national government having the rightful hand in the defense industry.

Message\"This bill does not allow private militaries to operate in our country. Frankly, it is a bit ridiculous that the fascists are using this excuse to argue for petty nationalisation, given that they in fact supported reversing the ban on paramilitary organisations. This bill only privatises arms manufacturers and other industries associated with defence, but it does not remove the state from the equation. The subsidies that we provide to such companies will give us a measure of control over them, in addition to the fact that the Imperial Diet retains authority for the export of weapons and weapons licensing within Greater Hulstrian borders. There is no reason to continue this petty nationalisation campaign propagated by the fascists, which they obviously are employing so as to centralise all authority into a government that they hope will one day be dominated by fascists and other extremists.\"

MessageThe \"Defense Industry\" does include include mercenaries.
A defense industry is a: \"government and/or commercial industry involved in research, development, production and service of military equipment and facilities. It includes defense contractors, the arms industry, and private military contractors.\"

Nowhere in this bill does it say private military contractors will not be allowed.

MessageOr...we could just simply keep the current laws and have the government own the industry.

MessageWe don\'t hope that one day fascists or other \"extremist\" parties one day rule, we actually hope for a united government, something the Staatsminister and her friends at the Nationalist Party don\'t want. On the other hand though, we completely argee with the Vereinigte Freiheit Allianz, and hope the rest of the Diet will follow in keeping this industry in the right hands.
