Bill: DSP.318.2660
Details
Submitted by[?]: 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2662
Description[?]:
For hundreds of years the general age of adulthood in all of Sekowo\'s cultures has been around 15, with some cases of it being lower and some of it being slightly higher, however for most of our people, the age has historically been 15. It was only do to the actions of now defunct parties that it was raised. Therefore, in the interest of preserving our cultural heritage and to allow more people to vote we propose that the age of adulthood/voting age be changed back to the historical 15. |

Message | 15 year-olds have not developed enough mentally to satisfy many adult obligations. |

Message | History teaches otherwise. Throughout history the age of adulthood has been considerably less, and people managed just fine. No, this non-sense is nothing more then the result of the fake science of psychology. |

Message | Some really effective arguments. Maybe some localization incentives. What does legal age currently affect in Sekowo? |

Message | Well, in Sekowo\'s case, since we don\'t have against disrciminatory laws that it would affect, essentially it\'s the legal voting age. |

Message | Oh, right adulthood for substance use. We wouldn\'t seriously consider changing it younger than 16, and we\'d need incentive to move it to 16. |

Message | Psychology and neuroscience are hardly \"fake sciences\". Why should 15-year-olds be abandoned by their parents or prosecuted as adults in all circumstances? There are rights of pre-adulthood as well. |
