Message | The Freedom Party, unless they otherwise defend their position, obviously stands for and accepts the raping and pillaging of our fair oceans. Why else would they prefer no limits compared to quotas? |
Date | 05:03:14, October 10, 2005 CET | From | Freedom Party | To | Debating the Sustainable Fishing bill |
Message | The Freedom Party opposes all current legislative options. We prefer that the regions in which the fishing take place regulate their own fishing. After all, whose fish is it? The federal government's or the people's? |

Message | You'll find that isn't an option we have to us, at the motion. It's either set quotas, nationalise the industry (hah! we can both agree that's not the option) or have no limits at all. This is the closest thing to regional control. Fish don't stay in one region either, if one region fishes to extinction it drastically effects other regions' fishing. |
