| Message | A mere 10 billion+ increase in our budget. I\'ve taken out the useless 30+ investment in our defense budget, which was doing fine before, and increased spending in key, useful not useless ministries such as education, science, health, and industry. We\'ll still have a 20+ billion dollar surplus. |

I had considered giving more funds to some of these ministries in light of recent criticism, though I still consider it largley unnecessary. Let me also say that I am thrilled that the Fascist Authority Party have finally recognised that bureaucratic ministries like the Ministry of Finance do not need outlandish sums of tax money to fulfil their functions. | Message | Despite the cut in the defense budget, it doesn\'t mean down the road we can invest again if we a profit from the budget. By the end of the decade if we see an increase in our surplus, I\'ll be more than happy to support an increase in defense. We\'ll have the smallest defense budget on mainland Dovani but we still have one of the most efficient armies out there right now. Finance Ministry is important but not a lot of money should be put into it as you know, they already pretty much have a say in our economic scene, and set policies etc, doesn\'t cost 100 thousand HCRs to propose a spending bill. Thanks for the comment there, very rare occasion so we\'ll make sure we keep record for it for the history books. |
