Details

Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2668
Description[?]:
The defense Industry of the nation is vital to the security of the nation and its performance and quality is a major factor in the strategic and tactical considerations of the military, especially in the Logistics field. So far we have been contracting with several previously existing firms with mixed results, after review we feel that Low tech weapons such as small arms, light vehicles and battlefield ordinance such as ammunition and other supplies can be handled adequately by the Public Sector without too much detriment to their quality and resulting in a hopefully more streamlined and/or cost effective process. On the other hand, High tech Military equipment such as fighter aircraft, targeting and detection systems, strategic and tactical communications and R&D would probably still be better handled by the private sector, given their admittedly better ability to be more flexible and innovative with such projects. |

Message | I agree with this proposal, this could help boost the economy for the people. It will also make war less costly by paying the people a low income for the arms. |
