| As everybody knows (OOC: link to the map: http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Dovani_colonies.jpg), Kazulia has a great share of Dovanian land under its jurisdiction. The land is inhabited by Kazulians, the native people have been integrated well. The five Herramarker most to the east are partly autonomous - they only share foreign relation and military with Kazulia, the rest they do themselves. As nothing has happened in the past, we have to regulate the administrative body watching over our colonies. As we currently control the Ministery of Foreign Relations, we announce hereby the foundation of a new department: The Kazulian Colonial Bureau (Byrå for Kazulianiske Kolonier). It will be lead by the experienced Dr. Erik Stiernhielm, and will have to answer both to the Ministry of Foreign Relations and the Head of Government as representative of any other members of the government. The task of the bureau will be to ensure proper application of Kazulian laws, ensure further integration of natives (which won't be a problem - the colonies once belonged to Dranland, and were liberated by Kazulia as the Dranii let them starve to death - Kazulia has thus never taken the role of an enemy of the natives), organising and improving the infrastructure, and to ensure, that the colonies can be brought to Kazulia's own standard. |
