Message | We could agree with article 1, 2 and 6 but we will not support this bill nonetheless. We do not like the idea of a completely nationalized power and electric utility or a completely nationalized telephone service. We think that foreign investors should be free to invest in Rutanian companies. To restrict foreign investor freedom would ruin our export economy, believe it or not. -Dr. Carl Mao, CEO of MaoZhouDeng Wide-range Economic consulting and Trade and Industry Advisor to the 3PPP |
Date | 04:44:23, November 22, 2008 CET | From | Rutanian Restoration Party | To | Debating the The Central Bank Creation Act of 2669 |
Message | The Orange Party is against any government interference in the economy and especially against raising taxes. Also, forcing foreign investments to ask permission would slow the economy down enormously. |
Date | 04:57:07, November 24, 2008 CET | From | The Egalitarian Coalition | To | Debating the The Central Bank Creation Act of 2669 |
Message | Dr. Mao, We cannot take your comments seriously due to the fact that currently exports account for 0% of Rutania's GDP. As for slowing down the economy, we are well aware of these effects. Nevertheless, we believe it more prudent to support the equality of all people before the economy. ~Usef Ay'ed EC Economic Minister |
Date | 08:26:43, November 24, 2008 CET | From | Federal Rutanian Libertarian Union | To | Debating the The Central Bank Creation Act of 2669 |
Message | The people's interests can only be taken care of if there is a fully free market where no party is fearing government interference - this does not ensure equality but thievery from well-established and quality private concerns for the sake of 'the people' under the guise of equality. This will not be accepted by the Libertarian Union due to its immoraity in thievery and in control of personal behaviour. Only the economy can guarantee equity. |
Date | 03:30:17, November 25, 2008 CET | From | Imperium Party | To | Debating the The Central Bank Creation Act of 2669 |
Message | We wholeheartedly support the centralization of Rutania's banks and energy. Iain Angel Imperium Party Leader |
Date | 20:37:46, December 03, 2008 CET | From | Socialist League for a new society | To | Debating the The Central Bank Creation Act of 2669 |
Message | The Socialist League stands only for the immediate popular control over economy, nor for private banks, neither for State banks. So we will abstain. |
Date | 20:26:35, December 04, 2008 CET | From | The Egalitarian Coalition | To | Debating the The Central Bank Creation Act of 2669 |
Message | We resent Liberarian Union's tiresome and poorly worded arguments to this bill proposal. If the LU believes that government control is paramount to "thievery," perhaps it should arrest the thieves; namely, the people, for in a democracy, people are the government. Calling government control and regulations a "guise of equality" leaves the impression that the LU is opposed to democracy and feels that the corporations who line the pockets of its representatives would do better running this country than the people. We thank the Imperium Party for their support and wish to urge the Orange Party and the Three Principles of the Peoples' Party to reconsider, or offer a compromise. We have said before and we shall say again; infrastructure must be run by the people in order to have a strong democracy. |
Date | 20:31:17, December 04, 2008 CET | From | The Egalitarian Coalition | To | Debating the The Central Bank Creation Act of 2669 |
Message | Additionally, Proposal 3 is intended primarily to protect Rutanian interests from being controlled by foreign powers; for the most part, the process will be minimal, however, we wish to ensure that no foreign investor obtains control over many of the infrastructures which we as a nation need to survive. Under the current system of unregulated private sector control over simple necessary goods as electricity, a foreign company (even a foreign nation, such as one controlled by the NWO) could buy up the electric plants and then shut them all down or raise prices as they saw fit. Without regulation, such a foreign power could obtain a monopoly over industries which Rutanians rely upon for everyday commonplace use. This is completely unacceptable. ~Kael Cissan Party Chairman |
