Message | We can agree to this as a marked improvement on current policy. We would, however, like to see reform in future, altering quotas to be based on nationality rather than individual application for a more comprehensive immigration policy. |

Message | We were also conflicted on choosing this option. We believe our economy is passed the days of needing droves of unskilled labor and instead we must focus on educated workers, but we also believe in limiting immigration to nationalities of similar culture or at least non-conflicting ones. Perhaps another bill can be drafted for that additional clause. |
