| As noted by the representatives from the Republic of Cobura, the Axis treaty states that "No mutual protection pacts will be required for admittance into the Axis, but as a minor show of solidarity, all nations are expected to offer token aid to other Axis allies in times of hostility." Given, however, the repugnant ideology of the NWO, it may be prudent for us to lend aid to Cobura in its time of need. Therefore, the President is authorized to deploy 100,000 men to Cobura, with authority to deploy further forces as necessary to achieve tactical aims, and to defend Darnussia by any means necessary against retaliatory strikes. |

| Message | I don't think there'll be a nation to give financial aid to, if no action is taken. My information indicates a 1.5 million man army is advancing through Cobura from the west, with an unknown additional force from the north. I am not willing to commit the entire Darnussian army of approximately 1.75 million, but a 100,000 man division may make a difference there, and would meet our treaty obligation to Cobura. It is far better that the war be fought there, than here. |

| Message | Could you explain the situation a bit more detail, how do we know that NWO has attacked Cobura (only a brief statement in the cobura parliament was found.) If Cobura is really under attack, PCU thinks Darnussia should send a substantial amount of soldiers into Cobura to protect it's coast and the capital. It may be even more tan 100 000 man. Also, we should announce a press release that we are doing this. |

| Message | It appears that the authorization to send forces to aid Cobura is too late. However, we do welcome discussions to maintain a strong defense of Darnussia, regardless of whether my party wins the upcoming elections or a pan-left coalition emerges. We intend to use the authorization herein to provide aid to the Coburan resistance whereever possible, and to use the authorization against retaliatory strikes as license to discuss with our partners in the new Treaty against the NWO the common defense of our nations against the NWO threat, whereever it may be found. We welcome hearing the stances of the other Darnussian parties with respect to this upcoming struggle, as national consensus with respect to our anti-NWO stance will be essential to our ultimate victory, as will diplomatic efforts with like-minded nations such as our eastern neighbor, Hobrazia. |
