Bill: Temporary Cabinet of Unity

Details

Submitted by[?]: Radical Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2672

Description[?]:

In the face of a collapsing Parliament, until the next election, I propose suspending the old rivalries that have divided our parties, and unite under a broad centre-left coalition cabinet. While we may differ vastly on many issues, all four of our parties are committed in some way or other to the preservation of the interests of the working man.

Hence, until the next election, I propose a cabinet of unity.
