Message | We agree with Articles 2,3,4. Article One is fine as it stands now. Article 5, we have no opinion either way. |

Message | Article 1 removed. Apparently some freedom has to be given for safety. :-) |
Date | 07:45:58, October 09, 2005 CET | From | Old School Liberal Party | To | Debating the Liberty Act |
Message | We are, unfortunately, against articles 2 and 3. Is there a reason the bill couldn't have been split up so that we wouldn't have to vote yes or no to all? |

Message | There is a reason. The people want all four of these proposals, but if it were to be split up, only three or fewer would be likely pass as opposed to all or none. We are a new nation, and there are plenty of things remaining to change for the better. You may always at a future date propose a bill to remove certain aspects changed which are argued about. Also, while creating bills, I tend to get a little bit click-happy. So many things to change...all with good intentions. |
