Bill: Freedom of Technology Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Left Leaning Libertarian Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2678
Description[?]:
It is our party's belief that open or closed source software should be allowed to be developed and distributed. We are proposing this bill so our government will have an official stance on the source code of software. Both open and closed code software has many applications for private businesses and citizens alike. This will protect companies who develop software and ensure that their business is not fettered by unclear laws. |
