| The Imbriety Office of Defense Designs and Jekesen Arms have developed new types of armor for our troops to wear during the event of nuclear fallout. The IODD design: http://gaygamer.net/images/the_vault_has_opened_fallout_3/fallout3-power-armor.JPG The IODD design is known as the "Personnel Vault" Weight: about 1,250 lbs Armor: 75 Added strength for infantry: 55 Propulsion system- small fan-rockets It is the cheaper of the two designs, the armor is thicker and the infantry has more power wearing it, however the armor is much more larger and bulky, making infantry wearing the Haz-mat combat suit more of a target for enemy fire. It is very heavy, so it requires a small propulsion fan-rocket to the legs for an infantry to run with the suit on. The Jekesen design http://media.moddb.com/images/mods/1/10/9894/71053.jpg The Jekesen design is known as the Safecrosser Weight- 240 lbs Armor- 30 Added strength for infantry- 40 Propulsion system- non needed The Safecrosser is not as heavily armored as the the IOCC's Personal Vault, itt's does not provide nearly as much armor protection from enemy fire or ordinances as the vault but that makes the Safecrosser much more lighter. To move in this armor, infantry do not need a guided propulsion system. |
