Bill: Cabinet Proposal of March 2122

Details

Submitted by[?]: Populist Liberal Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2122

Description[?]:

Proposing a Cabinet in which everyone gets two spots except the NFP, which is led by a terrorist and has gone nuts since the KIP and our party started (gasp) bipartisan negotiations. It's not like we've twinned; we both usually vote against each other's proposals. We reached a few agreements.

We think the Kanjoran People's Party is a good choice for the Consul. They are a small party in this session, but bigger than the NFP's choice; plus, they are liberal but moderate enough that people of all stripes should find them as a party they can deal with.

MessageThis proposal has the PLP as finance minister and the KIP as Foreign Minister.

these are the two most senior cabinet positions.

Unless you want to see the plp and kip permanently in those positions, vote no.

And what abou the KIP's war-mongering when he had the presidenship?

Can you really trust him to be the Foreign ~Minister - all you have to do is take a look back at the World news to see all the enemies he made for us during his term of office and take a look at the War bills etc. he passed.

My point is, it is unfair for you to "condemn" me when you the KIP did practically the exact same, if not worse than we on the World stage.

MessageNo one is claiming the KIP's leader killed their citizens, not did its leader take over cabinet departments that were not his.

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators.
