MessageOur defense budget is already bloated as it is, and we will not vote yes on any spending bill which offers defense provisions so much as one more penny.

MessageWe agree with the DCD. Defense spending is just overly bloated. We do, however, like the spending on Education and Culture, as well as on Science and Technology. If anything, we should be scaling back the spending on Defense.

MessageYou would leave our Armed Forces without decent weaponry and equipment if we cut back the budget, we are needing to invest to keep up the maintenance of our highly skilled and technologically advanced Armed Forces. Would you like to see your children in the Armed Forces with inadequcite equipment? My 2 sons are serving in the Armed Forces and I want to ensure my sons and the children of all our citizens who serve in the armed forces are looked after and protected. For me that comes far above any but job liberal lefty ideas.

Mark Finnan,
Defence Minister.
