Voting deadline: July 2123
Description[?]:
In order to reduce the costs, and the confusion, inherent in operating multiple local Government agencies doing the same work as each other, the Government will introduce a single National system of domestic animal registration. The local Government agencies will be merged into a single agency utilising a single computer registration system, accessible by all local and national offices, as well as Police, Fire and local Vets. In order to make the system easy to use for the general public, they may register their animals with the Government by either; a) Direct access via the internet to the registration network. b) Telephoning a regional exchange, which will then input that information into the National system. c) Via their local Post Office, which will have information and forms available for public use. All animals with be implanted with a small registration chip, fitted at the local vet at minimum charge, and should any animal be reported missing all animal shelters in the area, as well as Nationally will be informed. All animals entering the shelters will have their registration chips scanned to check on ownership, and those owners will be contacted before any attempt is made to rehome said animals. People found guilty of animal cruelty will be banned from owning any animal for no less than 5 years, as well as being fined the full cost of vetinary bills and upkeep of said animals, until such times as they can be rehomed. Any further penalties may be implemented at the discretion of local magistrates. |

Message | We believe that for this issue local governments are better able to handle such schemes. We could, however, support an abolishion of the registration requirement which would reduce cost even futher. |

Message | I agree with UB. I still believe localisation is the best answer, but abolishing the entire registration process will reduce government more, which is the best solution. |

Random fact: Players are expected to behave in a courteous, co-operative manner and make a reasonable effort to act with the consent of all players involved, even where the rules do not make consent strictly necessary. In particular, players have a responsibility to take reasonable care that other players are not misinformed either about the role-play or the Game Rules. |
Random quote: The Wolfsheim Virus is not a real actual disease in the conventional medical sense of the term. Rather, it is a cluster of symptoms which are just part of the general socio-economic disease that is capitalism. The main symptoms the sufferers are experiencing are a direct result of capitalist poverty, as in malnutrition, poor housing and so on, combined with psycho-somatic symptoms which are a direct consequence of the contradictions and stresses which are inherent to the capitalist system. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
