MessageThe national grid is too important to be left in the hands of several different companies. The State has the funds, tools, and equipment at its disposal to take care of the grid at the highest quality. The State also contracts with private industry anyway to do the work, its not like every Sunday everyone in the Diet goes on a field trip, and does the work to maintain the grid.

MessageThinking about this, I think this issue can also be brought down to compromise. Since the HNP is a strong supporter of local government empowerment and letting the Crownlands do their own governing, I think the best possible option would be the "Each region owns and maintains its own power grid". Promotes provisionalism and lets the x Crownland take responsibility, create a sense of independence. Profit will still be made, money circulation. Lets note that energy is still being produced by private, unregulated companies.

Here at the FAP we'd go for that and reverse the current law in place for the said if the HNP is willing to go with the region option.
