| My colleagues feel I am wasting my time with you guys, but I feel you are all willing to do the right thing for yourselves and for the country. I want to be very clear. Soon, we will have treaties that will lock into place all legislation in the country. Since we have higher visibility than you, we will survive and you will eventually perish. Your visibility will go down to 0 and then you will fade to nothing. This may take some time, but while you slowly rot you will be totally powerless. You will never get the Head of State, (if you do we will terminate the Viceroy position), you will never get a seat in the cabinet, and you will never be involved in the politics of Jelbania. Make no mistake, less than half of our team is in Jelbania. The other half are working around the world to give us a good position in various targeted countries. This allows us to throw a coup on any country in the world in a short time. In addition, all of us are university students. We can pool thousands of students from two universities. Basically, if you ever get any close to power, we can slam you back down. A perfect example is Lib-Gov. He has been fighting us for 75 years or roughly 5 months. He has failed in every sense of the word. He has had a cabinet seat for maybe five total years out of 75 years. He has been Head of State for less than 8 in the last 75 years. He only won, because our team screwed up a few times. He has never influenced foreign policy or domestic policy. He has been completely powerless. If you act like him, you will end up the same way. Or....you can join our team. Right now, we have our sights on Vanuku. We want to create a super state and we are in very good position to just that. We don't need your help, we can do it alone, but it would be quicker. Instead of eight years it will just take four. Inactivate your parties in Jelbania and create accounts in Vanuku. Assist us in this task, and we will give you the following: Duke and Earlships General and Admiral titles Cities named after your honor Cabinet positions including Prime Minister Viceroy position (Head of State) Input on the Empire's foreign and domestic policy Rights to speak on behalf of the empire in the forums And other considerations I am willing to negotiate with the following screen names: AIM: empirestv12 MSN: empirestv Yahoo: empirestv If you vote yes, it means you are remotely interested in compromise and have a desire to play ball with us If you vote no or abstain, it means you have no interest in ever negotiating with our team and accumulating power. |

REPLY FROM JKOP: 'While we observe that you indeed have the numbers to lock down the nations legislation, and in an ideal world visibility will slowly drop to zero, our stances on different issues already established by our voting patterns, will make election results somewhat unpredictable. There are other flaws to this strategy that the JKOP will not point out at this juncture, suffice it to say that while it may indeed be hard for the opposition to be effective it is indeed possible. Never getting a seat on the cabinet - while certainly true in the shorter term - is not the only goal of our party. Other objectives are important and indeed, acheivable'. Personally, I don't beleive you can co-ordinate that many people effectively. You will find general lethargy and while you may enjoy some initial success due to the novelty of the game, in the longer term this strategy is doomed. Students will be busy sometimes with other things, and studies from time to time - as well as your own internal factionalism that would inevitably arise (LMF already illustrates there is potential for this). As an established and rather well known player here, I suggest I could pit an appeal that you put out to players of questionable merit and dedication to an appeal that I would place on the forum any day - you may get the numbers, I suggest I would get the better quality of player and.. more than likely.. a couple of inactive Jelbanian accounts. Don't take this as a pissing contest, I don't mean to make it sound that way, I'm stating what I beleive is a factual analysis. I am not intending to go this course of action at this stage for 2 reasons: 1. I am enjoying playing the underdog here and 2. It will be more effective when your visibilities have dropped also. In other words, I can wait this out, and while I do, your resources will be tied up here. Every measure of success breeds an element of resistance. The bigger you get, the more enemies you will have. To this end, even though the JKOP beleives that Lib-Gov is the enemy of the workers we do recognise Lib-Gov has a party that shares a common goal of dismantling the status quo and to that end, the JKOP may consider co-operation with Lib-Gov.'
