Message | can i ask why you are opposed to nuclear weapons LCW? |

Message | We believe that they give no deterrent, and only lead to greater risk and instability. The only guarantee that Nukes give is that one day they will be used, and we can see no occasion when such a measure would be just; regardless of military objectives, the collateral and civilian damage is unacceptable to us. |

Message | They do not necessarily have to be used, the deteriorating ones may be used to produce energy, besides which it can be a valuable field of research and is most definitely a deterrent. However, I do think allowing the use of nuclear weapons for ANY reason is not a good move, there ought to be a unified decision from an independent, unbiased group as to their use. |

Message | By that time it may be to late, it is a dangerous world in which we live and we are one of the few countries not to have nuclear weapons what does that say about us to an enemy? |
