Message | This law is a violation of Article one of the Declaration of the Rights of the People "The government shall make no laws or decisions that prevent the people from exercising the freedoms of speech, press, petition, and assembly. However, the government may regulate profanity, libel, and slander." |
Date | 03:46:39, December 18, 2008 CET | From | People's Power Party | To | Debating the Patriotic Act |
Message | While we think that the bill should be passed we do have to say that it infringes upon the rights of citizens. We signed the Declaration of the Rights of the People and we would prefer to see our citizen's rights honored over the protection of our flag |

Random fact: Voters have an extra appreciation for bills that actually get passed, so if you want to maximally take profit from your votes, make sure you compromise with others. |
Random quote: "I am a conservative to preserve all that is good in our constitution, a radical to remove all that is bad. I seek to preserve property and to respect order, and I equally decry the appeal to the passions of the many or the prejudices of the few." - Benjamin Disraeli |
