MessageI agree that seizing private property for any reason is going to far and yet if we have knowledge of a weapon or illegal substance then we should be able to remove it from the suspect.
You cannot have minimum wage 'well above the poverty line' as companies would not be able to afford it, the wage would be just above the poverty line and council housing could be applied for.
Again you cannot force people to pick a side if there are no trade unions which entirely suit their needs.
