| We, the duly elected representatives of Jelbania recognise that severe damage has been done to the nation, culturally and governmentally. We hereby request Deltarian troops to assist with reconstruction of our nation. The nation of Jelbania, upon acceptance of this resolution places the armed forces, including police forces under the control of relevant Deltarian authorities. Sunset Clause: This Bill will stay in effect for 15 years. Upon expiry Jelbania will again assume control of all armed forces and Deltarian forces will agree to leave the country, relinquishing control in amicable fashion, unless the Jelbanian government chooses to renew this agreement for another term of fifteen years by majority vote. We recognise that Deltaria also succumbed to a period of Kennedy control and we feel they will be expert assistance to us in the period of post Kennedy reconstruction, ensuring our national stability and assisting in case of attack by others who may seek to exploit our current fragile democracy. |
