Message | This bill is an outrageous infringement upon the rights of every Aldegarian, and the Tallahasseea Party encourages its fellows in the Legislature to send it to a swift, round defeat. While we recognize that adultery can have a devastating effect on the families involved, the solution is not execution. Marriage is a civil, contractually-based institution (or at least this should be the extent of the state's involvement), and in no other instance in a civilized nation is breach of contract a capital crime. Under this bill, the adultery would still be a crime even if the aggrieved partner did not wish for his or her spouse to be executed. Shall we be the the representatives of all the people of Aldegar, or shall we allow a minority view of morality to be imposed, with full force of the state, upon all of us? |

Message | We absolutely agree with our esteemed friends of the Tallahasseea Party. We will not allow the government to invade the privacy of our citizens bedrooms. This bill is outrageous and is an affront to freedom loving peoples everywhere. The Nationalists of Aldegar should hang their heads in shame. |
Date | 05:26:18, December 21, 2008 CET | From | Green Party of Aldegar | To | Debating the Adultery Act |
Message | We the Green Party also voice our opposition to this shameful proposal of putting Big Brother's eyes in every Aldegarians' bedrooms. We will block every attempt of taking away basic human rights by any party in and out of the House of Commons. |
