Citizens of United Jakania should have the option of receiving an identification cards for work, shopping, and other purposes. Citizens inability to access to these cards portrays lack of freedom and government control, something we do not want to be affiliated with. Please, give this chose to our citizens and show that we are a government that is not overbearing and gives our people the responsibility to make their own choices. This simple gesture could change people's opinion for the better.

MessageOn the one hand, if we don't issue ID cards, people can just get them from private companies, so it's not necessary unless there winds up being too many different ID cards to keep track of. But then, we've been on a privately-distributed ID system for so long that all we'd be doing would be adding another ID card to the pile, thus making the problem worse, not better. Unless we ban private companies from selling IDs, which would be unacceptable and strip people of the right to make their own decisions. Better not to have the government involved at all, I think. There's no way we can participate in the system without mucking it up.
