MessageLets be honest about this...nowhere are you going to get government employees to fulfill their promises to be politically independent...that is just idealism.

I had considered this bill a few times, and decided not to submit it, until today, when I saw a recent poll on the subject. Apparently 53% of the population feels the same way I do as far as this change.

So, lets lose the idealism, and change the law to the practical and realist one.

MessageThats the ideal approach. But it isn't usually the reality of the situation. Feel free to vote whatever way, I just believe that this proposal is being honest about how government employees are usually hired.

MessageThe law should rigorously enforce the political independence of all governmental employees. This is why we cannot support this bill.
