Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2701

Description[?]:

As their is support for us becoming an empire their's obviously quite a bit of stuff we have to figure out.

Items decided upon;
1. Becoming a Federal Empire.
2. Having an elected Emperor (Tenno) who shall be both Hos & HoG.
3. Any change of names shall be discussed in the establishment legislation.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since I feel this has had enough time to be discussed, and their are atleast three parties supporting it,
I'm putting this to vote, both for archiving and overalll vote.

Message1. On a new name I've been thinking of a few;
-Imperial Commonwealth of Sekowo
-Sekowan Imperial Commonwealth
-Imperial Federation of Sekowo
-Sekowan Federal Empire
-Imperial Celestium of Sekowo
-Celestial Commonwealth of Sekowo

2. I'm for creating a monarchy and using the current Shiratokan monarchy, IE the Ishida Dynasty, since it's established and the HoS position is intended to represent the Japanese/Gao-Showa culture.

3. I'd honestly like to stay a Federation while becoming an Empire, though I suppose a de facto federation and de jure empire would be alright to, generally I'd like to keep the whole federal structure.

-Righteous Sekowan Empire
-Glorius Sekowan Empire
-Holy Sekowan Empire
-Imperial Union of Sekowo
-Guilded Land of Sekowo

2, I was thinking monarch, if a monarchy, I would like to see the title of emperor bestowed on James Smith of the Revolutionary State Socialist Party or Dr. Felix Simon Baumgartner of the Conservative Party

3, No. It doesn't make sense to do so.

MessageI don't think it'd be a good idea to use Holy, since that's Luthori's name

MessageOh, and in terms of a monarchy the last family name of the ruling family is the part that would be used, so it would'nt actually include a full name.
Makes it easier that way so you don't have to change characters physically every eighty or so years.

MessageAnother thing, on Federalism.
I don't see why you can't have a Federal Empire, I mean look at the Alexandrian Empire, it was ane mpire, but for all intensive purposes was a Federation, since the people were allowed to make their own domestic laws.

MessageDSP, a more modern example would be Kingdom of Netherlands (The Netherlands + Aruba + Netherland Antilles) or France and its overseas departments. But yes, completely agree, federal empires do exist and do function.

MessageOn behalf of the Deltarian Sluzhba, we hereby inform you that you are FORBIDDEN from upsetting the delicate balance of power in Dovani with your childish dreams of Empire. You are hereby ordered to abandon your Imperial ambitions and issue an immediate and public apology to the world community. Failure to comply with this order will mean dire repercussions for Sekowo, and may include any or all of the following ;

- We will lodge a formal complaint to the International Monarchist's League
- We will request that the Deltarian Czár issue a stern censure against the parties responsible, up to and including the angry shaking of his fist in a general northeasterly direction
- We will push for the Deltarian Rada to increase tariffs on several Sekowan imports by up to 15%
- We will issue a travel advisory warning Deltarians that Sekowo is a boring place and not much fun
- We will fund not one ; but FOUR anti-Sekowan websites which will accuse you of various misdoings and deficiencies
- We will institute apon you other sanctions of a similar nature, yet to be decided apon
