Bill: Budget proposal of June 2689

Details

Submitted by[?]: Genuine Progress Alliance

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2690

Description[?]:

The Party for Democratic Action and Progress propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Democratic Republic of Aloria.

The current budget proposal gives us a deficit of 54,307,859,977 ALO. We must minimize our spending as soon as possible in order to avoid dragging this nation into a massive debt.

MessageYou know why we have the deficit? Because of the tax policy crafted by the IPA/NP with the support of PIP and your party even.

This more then cuts in half one ministry, nearly cuts in half another, and then eliminates a third of infrastructure spending. I believes it would be better to adjust tax policy a little instead.
