| His Majesty's government must reduce its role in education and let the more efficient private sector gradually take over, to better concentrate on the defense of the empire and the protection of His Majestys subjects. However, as the League recognises that the a period of transition to a greater efficency of the Imperial government, devolution of education to the private sector, is needed, we propose that the government continue to pay for the education of poor families, so they can adjust to the changes. |
