Message | The Conservative Party believes that the title of Emperor is much more appropriate and correct than the title of Emperor Elect. |
Date | 22:26:05, January 07, 2009 CET | From | Classical Liberal Party | To | Debating the Changing the Title of the Emperor Act |
Message | This of course shall in no way effect the democratic and symbolic nature of the office of the head of state. |
Date | 02:24:25, January 08, 2009 CET | From | Centrist Party of Hobrazia | To | Debating the Changing the Title of the Emperor Act |
Message | Thank you for resurrecting an old bill of ours. |
Date | 09:05:35, January 08, 2009 CET | From | We Say So! Party | To | Debating the Changing the Title of the Emperor Act |
Message | We don't see any requirement for this. The position of Emperor is an elected one and the current name allows the differentiation from a heriditary one. |
Date | 18:08:19, January 08, 2009 CET | From | First Party Of Hobrazia | To | Debating the Changing the Title of the Emperor Act |
Message | We do believe in both arguements for naming the head of state. We are at present inclined towards Emperor for its simplicity |
Date | 20:11:54, January 09, 2009 CET | From | Classical Liberal Party | To | Debating the Changing the Title of the Emperor Act |
Message | Precisely, Emperor is more simplistic. I don't think we are that desperate to distinguish the position from a hereditary one, the office of the Emperor Elect is very well known. |

Message | Just because something is simplistic doesn't make it better. |
Date | 12:43:13, January 10, 2009 CET | From | We Say So! Party | To | Debating the Changing the Title of the Emperor Act |
Message | Also, we are the only nation on Terra with an Emperor Elect rather than a "simple" Emperor, why be uniform like every other nation? |
Date | 20:25:50, January 10, 2009 CET | From | Classical Liberal Party | To | Debating the Changing the Title of the Emperor Act |
Message | As I said, Emperor Elect is not exactly correct word use, usually referring to a statesman who has been elected but has not yet taken office. Why not be uniform, why is there such a quest to be unique? I would understand it with other things, but this? Anyway, most Hobrazians refer to the Emperor Elect as Emperor. |
