Description[?]:
"The destruction of the Crusades have created a great number of problems for Beiteynu. One of them is piracy. We see no reason why the good and upstanding Beiteynuese should suffer for the actions of the Imperialists. Luthori is always quick to boast of its powerful navy. We believe it is about time it justified its budget." Article 1: Upon the Passage of this bill, Beiteynu shall make available letters of marque at the cost of 500 BEI. Bearers of a letters of marque shall be treated as privateers. Article 2: A Letter of Marque shall grant the bearer the following privileges: a) Free passage through Beiteynuese Waters b) Safe Port in Beiteynuese Harbours c) The removal of import restrictions and tariffs on goods brought into Beiteynu. d) Guarantee of Non-extradition to any nations they are wanted on criminal charges. Article 3: Holders of a Letter of Marque must cease all piracy activity outside of Luthori territorial waters or against non-Luthori ships. Failure to do so may result in the suspension of priveleges a,b and d. Article 4: Letters of Marque may be declared void by Beiteynu at any time. |

Message | This kind of resistance will make our natiuon hated and look like band of thugs. |
Date | 14:29:43, January 13, 2009 CET | From | HaLeumit Tikvah | To | Debating the Resistance by all Means |
Message | It is Luthori who are the thugs. This kind of resistance is necessary, albeit unpleasant, to give our people back their freedom. |

Message | I would like to point out, that no freedom has been taken away. They have freedom of speech and right to assemble. They have every right in the Kingdom. The only difference is that they are under the government of the Kingdom and not your government which at this point is still not fully rebuilt and is a mess. |

Message | They do not have freedom to choose their own government. And you will never grant them that because they will overthrow you. And indeed you have claimed to have 'locked down' the city- this is a direct attack on freedom of movement. |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
Random quote: "Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time." - Winston Churchill |
