Bill: Clean Private Transport Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Totalitarian Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2124

Description[?]:

Presently, the citizens of our nation are allowed to drive vehicles that run on environmentally-unfriendly fuels. The Totalitarian Party feels the citizens should be slowly weaned off these cars.

For many decades now, the government has offered tax incentives for those that use environmentally-friendly fuels. Many citizens should now be using cars that run on clean fuels. We propose older vehicles, which use unclean fuels, be banned from sale in our nation. Current owners of these vehicles will be allowed to keep them for as long as they wish. Tax incentives for using clean fuels will be suspended.
