Message"Mr. Speaker,

Having reviewed the fiscal state of the nation, it would seem that the only thing in the way of these generous tax cuts for the economic freedom and bennefit of this nation is HIS overspending. When will this administration accept responsibility for a bloated and unused treasury?"

-Eithar Reid, Coalition Treasury Spokesman

ooc: I don't know if in the U.S Senate or HoR you need address the speaker but thats how we do it in England so I thought I'd try and make RP a bit more believable- as though we are actually talking in the Senate,

MessageWe fail to see how have a near balanced budget with a small surplus for emergency use is irresponsible. We feel as though the Coalition's efforts to remove this 'emergency fund' is far more irresponsible. What in the event of crisis when we need to pump extra funds into a specific department? With the proposed tax plan, this may not be possible

Message"Mister Speaker,

If this proposal is understood correctly, the CMP-CSP Coalition proposes to install a tax on essential items. How does this serve the welfare of the common Solentian, especially in light of the cognizant objections raised by Mister Vasilevm?"

Message"Mr. Speaker,

This government is overspending. It is the role of the Minister for Finance to be responsible with this nation's money and at the moment, he isn't. We must cut taxes, cut expenditure and return fiscal freedom to this country. I ask the opposition parties to show the Soletian man's money is being well spent. It was only this month that banks, hospitals and schools were all privitised and Solentia became a communist nation, so where is the evidence that before this point, that our tax money wasn't being wasted? It is time for this goverment to show some accountability in it's economic policy!"
