Details
Submitted by[?]: LGC-Freedom Party (UPDD)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2702
Description[?]:
While we believe our government should not endorse region, it is the right of the people to have personal freedom of religion. We have an open door policy to all immigrants and visitors; however if you are a missionary, you may not enter the country, This is open and blatant repression of religion and freedom there of. Businesses are allowed to advertise themselves and yet religions are not. Religion is apparently more restricted than commercial enterprise which we all know is not that valued in our socialist society to begin with. Our public officials may wear all sorts of expressions of themselves while performing their duties. They may wear wedding rings to showed their marital status. They may wear expensive jewelry to express their financial class. They may wear political pins. They may wear belt buckles with expressions. Well you get the picture. But what they may not wear is religious symbols. They may express everything about themselves but religion. We must end this persecution and embrace the choice to either be or not be religious. This is a huge part of who a person is and they should be allowed to share it. |
