| We, the Parliament of the United Republics of Lodamun, do hereby create the position of Deputy Minister for each Ministry in the Cabinet. The following rules apply: 1) Deputy Ministers are nominated by the President and confirmed by Parliament with a simple majority of votes casted. In case of illness, resignation, or impeachment of a Cabinet member, the Deputy Minister of such Ministry shall assume the duties of the Minister as Acting Minister until a new Minister is confirmed by Parliament. The Acting Minister shall have the same powers and duties as the Minister. This is a Constitutional Amendment and requires a 2/3 majority of Parliament in order to be approved. |
