Bill: GNP.013.2700
Details
Submitted by[?]: [KU] 国立村 (Kokuritsu-mura) 🏘️
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2701
Description[?]:
Going along the lines with GNP.012.2700, our citizens should be protected from endangering their lives and at the same time, decreasing their life expectancies. For this reason, we call the for the restriction of public smoking. Not only does public smoking affect the smoker himself/herself, but also everyone around them with second-hand smoke. Second-hand smoke is just as dangerous as first-hand, and that is why smoking should be restricted to just private homes, clubs, and bars. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government policy towards smoking.
Old value:: Smoking is legal everywhere, at the discretion of the property owner. However, service/employer property owners that allow smoking must provide a separate non-smoking section.
Current: Smoking regulations are to be determined by local governments.
Proposed: Smoking is legal outdoors and in private homes and clubs, but illegal indoors in places of employment, with the exception of places that primarily serve liquor.
