Bill: Cabinet Proposal of January 2701

Details

Submitted by[?]: H+ Paradigm

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2701

Description[?]:

38 seats are needed to pass a cabinet.

39 seats are included in this proposal.

I took the number of seats each party has and divided by the total number of seats included in this proposal. This result was then multiplied by the number of positions in the cabinet (13).

This results in 9 positions for myself, 3 for the UFL and 1 for the GKK.

I gave myself 7 positions and gave an "extra" one to both the UFL and the GKK.

Fair enough?

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.

Random quote: "Remember that government doesn't earn one single dollar it spends. In order for you to get money from the government, that money must first be taken from somebody else." - Governor Jesse Ventura
