MessageThe CDP is ENRAGED by this disgraceful attack on human rights. Torture, under NO circumstances can ever be allowed, it is a disgusting and violent way to attempt to gain information.

Information obtained by torture is also unreliable - torturing suspects means they may be forced to confess when they are innocent and know nothing and may make up confessions in order to stop their pain, or exaggerate to give our authorities what they think they want to here.

And has the Principality of Linkon considered the effects if the person subject to the torture is innocent? Torture is a terrifying situation which often leaves permanent physical and psychological damage - completely unfair if the person is innocent.

MessageWe agree with CDP, torture is wrong in any case, put individuals in isolation in any case (to prevent suspect terrorists contacting their groups) but torture such as water-boarding is VILE.
