Bill: Worker's right to strike
Details
Submitted by[?]: Christian Democrat Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2703
Description[?]:
We believe that very important services cannot all go on strike when they are critical to society - and so they're must be a minimal amount of employees to keep a critical organisation going. Under the current laws, police, firemen and doctors can all hop off on strike, which would leave the country in ruins. |
Proposals

Old value:: All workers have the right to strike.
Current: All workers have the right to strike.
Proposed: All workers have the right to strike but certain categories of workers regarded as critical to society have to ensure a minimal service.

Message | I am sorry but we as the Principality of Linkon don't agree with this bill, mostly because we believe in equal rights for all free citizens of Likatonia, and we believe that should we allow this to happen, it would undermine the point of the worker's strike, and therefor we would be attempting to control them and their actions, so for these critical workers should be given what they demand, as this is the actual point of the stirke. |

Message | But surely we cannot allow all of the individuals to go on strike - where without our presence the lives of individuals could be in danger. If all our emergency services go on strike - many lives could be lost. THIS BILL COULD SAVE LIVES. Please take note that we are not preventing all people going on strike, just not all simultaneously in critical departments, so as not to threaten the lives of individuals. |

Message | I still believe that you shouldn't be voting for this bill, what can banning the most vital sector from stiking do, whilst still keeping freedom of actions from occuring. First we ban the vital sector from striking, then we ban stiking at certain times of the year etc, and the poof, our free democracy has fissled into extremist behaviour. So, what I suggest is that the workers of the vital sector must be satisfied in their jobs to not have to strike, and this is why they go on strike, for better working lives. |

Message | We believe this bill is correct, people in life-saving careers should not have taken them up if they did not want to benefit the lives of others, therefore they themselves should agree with this bill! |

Random fact: Don't vote yes on a cabinet coalition that doesn't give you the power that you deserve. |
