MessageThis tax cut will reduce collected income taxes by nearly 27 billion crowns. Ordinary citizens will have keep more of their own money in their pockets and will spend and save more money, thus helping to further increase GDP growth.

This is a companion bill to the Appropriations Bill (2702): http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.php?billid=237789

MessageOver the years the tax system has gone through considerable slashes and has shrinked but for what? Last time taxes were cut/brackets elimated, it actually decreased GDP growth for a good decade. It was only until budget spending provisions did it jump up 100+billion crowns. Obviously people take keep "money in their pockets at heart" and are not spending or putting it into banks. The tax system now is fine and not a burden; in some other nations where they tax people in the 1,000 tax brackets for 10% is a burden.

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature.
