MessageWe support the increase of seats in parliament, which would mean better representation, but this would mean more constiuencies will have to be created.

Overral we support the seat increase but this proposal is not acceptable, that being it is only 700 seats. We would want the OP to propose another amendment to change the seat number to '699'. This is because we do not want a deadlock when the voting procedure begins. Bills will not pass if there is a draw i.e. same number of seats supporting no and yes. It is best to keep it an odd number so that a bill always passes or defeated.
