Bill: LET'S ENSURE THE FUTURE OF THE COMMONWEALTH -- Social protection for families with low income
Details
Submitted by[?]: Rutanian Elitist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2704
Description[?]:
The NPE thinks that every person has right to a decent life-style. This is more important for families with children. The NPE considers that the state must embrace the protection of families, because they constitute the basis of our society and ensure the future of the country. This is a too important matter to be left in the hands of local governments. Victoria von Bruckenthal Vice-Chairman, NPE |

Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The government policy regarding housing.
Old value:: Housing policy is to be determined by local governments.

Message | We will support this proposal on one condition: That a family/individual can only live in the house for a given amount of time. However, this time should be long enough to guarantee that they have acquired means to obtain their own house. We at the Orange Party feel that if we allow people to dwell in state housing indefinitely, that it will encourage a welfare state and lethargy, and cause people to lose incentive to work hard for their own "place." You will have our full approval if a time limit is set. |

Message | The NPE does not reject the idea proposed by the OP. Furthermore we would like to emphasize that state would provide housing only for families and not individuals. We totally understand and appreciate the concerns of the OP. We are also extremely pleased that the NEP with its significant political and parliamentary power supports our humble proposal. Message | We also do agree with the OP's proposal to make the housing temporary, and the NPE's of families, not individuals. This gives families a chance to settle down so they can work towards a home of their own. |

Message | This would apply too much of an iron heel from the national government to the healthcare industry and the regions and even the people. We are strong believers of a privatized system and we support incentives to companies that provide their workers with health insurance. In the Kazari-Ozan corporation, there is not one worker without quality health insurance, from our top executives down to the custodial staff in our offices and the assembly plant workers, who are also allowed to unionize. -Harrison Nyugen Phan Elfrink |

Message | oh wait, wrong issue....(OOC: Thought this was a healthcare issue, ignore what I said earlier) But we are against this bill....it gives power to the national government, we are supporters of privatization and/or devolution. |

Message | We support this proposal, again as opposite of the political spectrum the party support nationalization and centralism and it is a good opportunity for people to enlist trust in the government that the state will give income to poor families. Veronica Zoratatt IP Leader |

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself. |
