Message | I will support this, though i think these laws should go further. |
Date | not recorded | From | To | Debating the Firearms Licensing |
Message | We would agree but a compromise is needed to find a law acceptable to a majority. |

Message | Since we have already debated the issue shall we move to a vote while we continue to do so? |
Date | not recorded | From | Proletariat Revolution Party | To | Debating the Firearms Licensing |
Message | A registration system would be wise, but we would need proper enforcement, but...at what cost? Maybe attach the gun license to a driver's license? But, either way, privacy of our people should not be violated. |
Date | not recorded | From | To | Debating the Firearms Licensing |
Message | Firearm use needs to be regulated, my party believes that the law shoul dbe extended to ban friearms use by all except those who professionally require them but this is a suitable compromise. Licences should be shown before people can buy guns. |
Date | not recorded | From | National Centrist Party | To | Debating the Firearms Licensing |
Message | They should never be banned, but we are not opposed to this. Regulation drives criminals underground without punishing law-abiding citizens. Complete bans just create a black market. |
Date | not recorded | From | Right Wing Liberals Party | To | Debating the Firearms Licensing |
Message | Many regulations are better than none. |
Date | not recorded | From | National Centrist Party | To | Debating the Firearms Licensing |
Message | A few regulations are better than none, but many are worse than none. These licenses should extend no further than minimal safety training and a criminal background check. |
Date | not recorded | From | People's Party | To | Debating the Firearms Licensing |
Message | Criminal background checks already exist that is but obvious ...why can't we make it mandatory to have training in the private sector instead? |
Date | not recorded | From | To | Debating the Firearms Licensing |
Message | "Adult individuals are allowed to own and purchase guns freely." makes no mention of any sort of check though. |
Date | 07:20:50, April 27, 2005 CET | From | People's Party | To | Debating the Firearms Licensing |
Message | Well I am not opposed to that ..what I am opposed to is a license which will take atleast a week to arrive. If you want i'll pass the original bill stating background checks explicity along with mandatory training ....but please don't leave people to the tender mercies of bureaucrats. |
