Bill: Reforms to Agriculture:

Details

Submitted by[?]: United Workers

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2706

Description[?]:

These Proposals will help the nation in the following way;

1- The crops which are being put to great demand will be subsidised to help the farmers keep up with the demand for the crops.

2- We should keep a record of all products used in agriculture because this will help the governments control the use of some things, which will help to stop farmers using any old fertiliser that may be bad for the consumer of the product.

3- The local governments should be the ones to establish the fishing quotas because they are the one to govern the area and they will know better at the time for their area, as apposed to the central government performing this duty as they need to work on the prospering of the whole nation, and the detailed work may be neglected or cast to one side for more pressing matters.

MessageWe are the same, we preferred the old values as they are a step forward of what you have proposed, for example subsidising both for economic and environmental reasons.

MessageThe first and third proposals are sound but we are not sure about the second. Wouldn't that mean it is legal for farmers to put ANYTHING in their crops as long as they listed it? We believe that the current value gives the government more control over the chemicals that can be used in crop production.
